Plum Sprite Ribs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g pork ribs
  • 3 slices of ginger
  • 1 bunch of green onions
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons cooking wine
  • 500ml Sprite
  • 12 plums (dried)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions:

1、Soak 500g of pork ribs in cold water for 1 hour to remove any blood, then rinse and blanch in boiling water. *Blanching Method: In cold water, add 3 slices of ginger, 1 bunch of green onions, and enough water to cover the ribs. Bring to a boil, then remove the ribs.

2、Heat a pan with oil, then sear the ribs over medium heat until both sides are lightly browned. Add 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce, 3 tablespoons cooking wine, 500ml Sprite, and 12 dried plums.

3、Bring to a boil over high heat, then cover and simmer for 40 minutes on low heat. Remove the lid and increase the heat to reduce the sauce, about 5 minutes, until it thickens. Serve on a plate, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.

    Plum Lemon Tea Recipe

    Ingredients:

    • 3 jasmine tea bags
    • 1000ml boiling water
    • 3 lemon slices (seeds removed)
    • 10 small tangerines (sliced and seeds removed)
    • 10g mint leaves
    • 15 dried plums
    • 20g honey
    • Ice cubes (optional)

    Instructions:

    1、Steep 3 jasmine tea bags in 1000ml boiling water for 15 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool.

    2、In a container, add 3 slices of lemon, 10 small tangerines, 10g of mint leaves, 15 dried plums, and 20g of honey. You can also add ice cubes if you prefer.

    3、Pour the cooled tea over the ingredients and stir well.
