Just last Sunday, Jay-Z was accused by a woman of participating in the assault of a 13-year-old girl with Diddy back in 2000.

The accuser, who goes by the pseudonym Jane Doe in legal documents, claims she was assaulted at a party following the MTV Video Music Awards on September 7, 2000, when she was only 13 years old.
Jane Doe had actually filed a lawsuit against Diddy in the Southern District of New York last October, but at the time, she withheld Jay-Z’s name, referring to him as “Celebrity A,” who owns properties in New York and Los Angeles. On Sunday, December 8, she refiled the lawsuit, accusing Jay-Z of his involvement, revealing that “Celebrity A” was indeed Jay-Z.
In 2000, 13-year-old Jane Doe was eager to attend the VMAs, considering it an important goal on her life’s checklist.
So, after the ceremony started, she approached the parking area near the venue, chatted up some celebrity limo drivers, trying to convince them to take her to a VMA after-party.
A driver claiming to work for Diddy told her that Diddy liked young girls and that she fit the bill.
After the awards show, the driver dropped Diddy off at the party location and then came back for Jane Doe.
Jane Doe says that upon arriving at the party, she noticed many people were using drugs. She drank a bitter, orange-cranberry juice-like drink and soon felt dizzy and unable to stand.
She collapsed in an empty bedroom, where Diddy, Jay-Z, and “a female celebrity” followed her in.

Diddy aggressively approached her, his eyes wild as he grabbed her, saying, “You’re ready for the party!” Then he threw her against the wall, causing her to fall…
Diddy grabbed her again, throwing her onto the bed, where Jay-Z began to undress her.
Under the influence of the drug, Jane Doe couldn’t resist, becoming increasingly confused as Jay-Z pinned her down and assaulted her… while Diddy and the female celebrity watched the entire ordeal.
After Jay-Z was done, he stood to the side, and Diddy assaulted her again in front of Jay-Z and the female celebrity.
Legal documents show that during the 2000 incident, aside from the female celebrity standing by watching Diddy and Jay-Z take turns assaulting a minor, no one at the party did anything to stop the crime, as if it were commonplace.
Eventually, Jane Doe escaped the house, following the route the limo driver had taken her, and made her way to a gas station she passed on the way to the party.
A female gas station attendant let Jane Doe use the phone, and she called her father, admitting she had lied about going to the party and begging him to pick her up.
After returning home, Jane Doe fell into deep depression, with the incident affecting her life ever since, suffering from PTSD, stress-induced seizures… making it hard for her to maintain normal relationships and life, essentially living a life isolated from society.
After Jay-Z’s allegations were made public, some noticed that the timeline of this 2000 incident seemed to overlap with when Jay-Z and Beyoncé were dating.

Beyoncé once mentioned in a magazine interview that she met Jay-Z when she was 18, around September 1999 to August 2000.
They were friends for a year and a half before they started dating.
“We talked on the phone for a year and a half, which is a very important foundation for a relationship. Having someone you like, someone who’s honest, that’s very important.”
By November 2001, they were photographed by Vanity Fair, where Jay-Z told the magazine that he and Beyoncé had just started dating.
This means that while Jay-Z was developing a relationship with Beyoncé, he was also hanging out with Diddy at illegal parties…
On Sunday, Jay-Z immediately issued a lengthy statement, denying the allegations in the lawsuit, stating that the accuser’s lawyer, Brafman, had sent a letter to his lawyer seeking a settlement, and he had filed a lawsuit against the woman’s lawyer last month, accusing her of extortion.
Moreover, Jay-Z played the family card in his statement, saying his family, especially his children, were severely distressed.

On Monday, Jay-Z’s lawyers took action, filing a new motion in the Federal Court of New York, seeking to dismiss the case or to have Jane Doe’s real name disclosed, stating: “Jay-Z has the right to know the identity of the person who accused him of crime in a sensationalist, attention-seeking manner, demanded substantial financial compensation, and tarnished his reputation for decades.”
