China’s First Luxury Home, “Guiyang White House”! Costing 2.7 Billion RMB, Only Two Families Live Here?

It’s not just luxurious and grand; it’s called the “Guizhou White House,” and it’s off-limits for public viewing. Various legends circulate about it, making it one of China’s most mysterious buildings.

This Guizhou mansion, outrageously expensive, is none other than the Hua Guoyuan Art Center.

A “sky-defying” private mansion costing 2.7 billion RMB, yet no one has ever been inside? From a distance, a white Baroque-style palace stands on the mountain, its castle-like architecture classical and magnificent, reflecting opulence in the lake below. Just looking at the exterior makes one exclaim, it’s even more luxurious than a royal palace.

When the lights come on at 7 PM, it truly gives off the atmosphere of a European castle, and every photo taken feels like a blockbuster. Even if you can’t go inside, it still attracts many to come and admire it.

There’s an exaggerated saying: anyone who has lived in Guiyang will have a photo of the White House on their phone. However, the entire palace isn’t open to the public, its purpose remains a mystery, and you can see security guards watching over it at all hours.

Some netizens say it’s a private residence; others claim that due to the owner’s ostentatious nature, it has been seized by the government and now serves only as a display. There are also rumors that while the official cost is 2.7 billion RMB, its real value exceeds 10 billion. It’s said that the first and second floors are rented out, and photos leaked by some insiders give us a glimpse into the castle’s luxury.

The front entrance is guarded by two stone lions carved from a single piece of white marble, with grand chandeliers that exude nobility, making one feel the majesty and luxury from afar.

Upon entering the hall, the elevators are encased in rosewood, the lighting fixtures are genuine crystal chandeliers, and the floors are laid with marble tiles. Even the wall sconces and door handles are meticulously crafted.

Some even jest that if you lived in this palace, cleaning it would be exhausting.

How I’d love to experience staying here for a night!
