On Monday night, someone spotted 56-year-old “Wolverine” Hugh Jackman and 49-year-old Broadway actress Sutton Foster having dinner together on the streets of Santa Monica, California.

Hugh Jackman was dressed casually in a jacket, sweatpants, and sneakers, with his beard now graying.
Sutton Foster was dressed elegantly in a dress, cashmere coat, and high heels. 
The two were holding hands, walking down the street, chatting and laughing, occasionally making eye contact. They seemed in great spirits.
Meeting on Broadway
In 2022, the two met while working together on the Broadway musical The Music Man, sparking rumors that they had hit it off, but it didn’t attract much attention at the time.
The Breakdown of Jackman’s Marriage
In 2023, the long-time “devoted husband” Hugh Jackman suddenly announced his divorce from his wife of 27 years, Deborra-lee Furness, citing a “fading relationship” and a “peaceful separation.”

Many fans were shocked by the revelations in October, and it seemed the “Wolverine” star’s image had been shattered. This time, being photographed on a public date with his rumored girlfriend, Jackman no longer seemed to be pretending, and their relationship was essentially confirmed.
Reports also suggest that Jackman plans to officially announce his relationship with Sutton in the near future.
Deborra’s Reaction
Many people were curious about how Deborra-lee Furness would react to Jackman’s affair and the breakdown of their marriage.
In October, a gossip blogger posted on Instagram, claiming that Jackman had “eloped with his mistress” and was planning to “slowly launch” their relationship. Surprisingly, Deborra liked the post.
Later in October, a source told the Daily Mail that Deborra had suspected she was being cheated on. However, when she finally confirmed it, she was still caught off guard.
The gossip was described as “Broadway’s least well-kept secret,” with Deborra being “the last one to know.”
The source claimed that Deborra was upset with Jackman’s close friends, especially Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively, because they were aware of the situation but chose not to speak up.
