I finally visited the long-awaited Ghibli Park! As a die-hard fan of Hayao Miyazaki, this place truly feels like a dream come true. Let me share with you my complete guide to this magical experience!
Ghibli Park brings the world of Miyazaki’s animation to life, meticulously recreating scenes from the films. The background music is even the original soundtracks! As you step into each area, it feels like you’ve walked right into a movie, leaving you emotional and overwhelmed. Every Miyazaki fan must visit this park!

Five Incredible Themed Areas
1. Ghibli Warehouse (A Must-Visit!)
The indoor exhibition area is perfect for rainy days! You can explore the Bathhouse from Spirited Away, see the robot from Castle in the Sky, and shop at the exclusive store until your hands are full!
2. Hill of Youth
This area gives off a full sci-fi vibe, inspired by Howl’s Moving Castle. The streets resemble late 19th-century European architecture, and the aerial garden is perfect for romantic photos.
3. Totoro Forest
This area is an exact replica of Mei’s house! The Totoro bus stop photo spot often has a line, but the forest trail is so healing and serene.
4. Mononoke Village
Step into the world of Princess Mononoke, with the ironworks factory standing impressively. The lighting at night is absolutely magical.
5. Witch’s Valley
Visit the bakery from Kiki’s Delivery Service with perfect attention to detail. Don’t forget to snap a picture by the iconic red plane!

Opening Hours
The park is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM). There are no fixed closure dates, but it may close temporarily for maintenance.
