First launched in 1934, this festival is unlike any other in the world. Instead of flowers or lights, every installation is crafted entirely from citrus fruits. The town becomes a fantastical open-air gallery made of lemons and oranges—bright, bold, and wonderfully unexpected.

A Massive Human Effort
Behind the cheerful displays lies an astonishing level of craftsmanship. Weeks before the festival begins, local artisans start building gigantic sculptures based on a chosen theme.

After the festival ends, the remaining fruit is sold to the public instead of being wasted. This eco-friendly tradition adds a practical, down-to-earth touch to an otherwise extravagant celebration.
